Our breeding programs are designed to produce varieties that perform reliably under different conditions, addressing issues such as temperature variation and soil variability. Thanks to state-of-the-art technologies and an intense trial strategy, our varieties perform in different climates and are resistant to common pests and diseases. Being located in key markets also allows us to focus on specific pepper varieties that meet specific market needs such as flavor and shape.
Our breeding efforts are focused on developing peppers with robust resistance to a wide range of threats, including Tobamovirus, Tospovirus, Root knot nematodes, Xanthomonas, Phytophthora, and Powdery Mildew. We’re also committed to reducing pesticide use and increasing adaptability to ever-changing environmental conditions.
Our breeding programs are strategically located in key regions including Mexico, Spain, Italy, and Turkey. These locations allow us to specialize in a variety of pepper types, such as Blocky bell, Jalapeño, Snack, Lamuyo, Corno di Toro, Kapia, Charleston, and Demre-sivri. By focusing on local varieties in these regions, we can better meet the specific demands of each market while also maintaining a strong global presence.
