Crunchy, Fresh and Nutritional; the ideal ingredients for a Cucumber.

Strong focus on consumer needs
We focus on the perfect crunch, fresh taste, and long shelf life.
Resilient to pests & diseases
We combine key resistances to enhance crop resilience.
High crop performance
Our varieties offer high yields even in challenging conditions.

The main challenge is to get that ultimate freshness into every bite.

A cucumber that offers consumers a satisfying crunch, great taste, and a fresh feeling, but also provides growers with high yields, resistance, and adaptability, whilst also ensuring a long shelf life for retailers; these are quite some demands… But at KWS, we embrace the challenge. Every day, we focus on developing new varieties to meet these needs for our cucumbers.

Focus is in our genes.

There are many different types of cucumbers, which is why it is so important to focus. Our varieties concentrate on the (Latin) American, European and Middle-East markets, leading to four distinct product categories.

American Slicer
Known for its unique aromatic and sweet flavor. Tailored to the US, Latin America, Spain and Mexico.
Long Dutch
Popular in Europe and known for its length and versatility in culinary applications.
Snack/Baby:
Popular in the Middle East, Turkey and Iran, prized for their crunchiness and snack-friendly size.
Mini
Emphasizing compact size and flavor, perfect for a variety of culinary uses.

"Our commitment lies in crafting cucumbers that not only taste great, but also resonate with the demands of modern consumers for freshness and nutritional value."
